His style is unique and refreshing with lyrics that paint a vivid picture every time you listen.  Radiant Amar is an artist whose story reflects the face of America's youth.   

Over the past 12 months, Radiant Amar (co-founder of the C.H.A.N.G.E. initiative) has been touring across the country encouraging audiences to get out the vote and take greater responsibility in their communities.  Radiant believes that music and pop culture are key components to inspiring change amongst the masses of young people.   

Just days before the historic 2008 presidential election, Radiant Amar hosted I AM C.H.A.N.G.E!, along with The Source Magazine and Hip-Hop Summit Action Network.  The event brought together artists, influencers and tastemakers in the entertainment industry to join co-hosts Russell Simmons and Spike Lee for a final call-to-action to encourage every influential person to mobilize their audiences, communities and constituent bases to GET OUT THE VOTE.

After remarks from LL Cool J, Spike Lee, Valeisha Butterfield, L. Londell McMillan and Russell Simmons, Dr. Benjamin Chavis introduced Radiant Amar for a special performance to unveil his single, "The World," which features a powerful message over an electric guitar, challenging today's generations to wake up and realize their potential to become leaders.  He emphasizes that the first step begins within oneself. 

Russell Simmons stated, "The work that Radiant and the C.H.A.N.G.E. initiative is doing is important for today's young generation to understand, because it promotes the idea of personal responsibility, which is where change begins."

As one of the first supporters of the C.H.A.N.G.E. initiative, Russell Simmons gave a pledged commitment and recorded a special PSA for "I AM C.H.A.N.G.E!" encouraging people to take action in their lives and play their part in the elections.  

In response to President-Elect Barack Obama's victory speech, Radiant Amar said, "It is imperative that my generation heed the call to get involved from President-Elect Obama.  I won't sit on my hands.  I will play my part in community building and provide inspiration through my music."

Radiant Amar looks forward to branding a new style and represents an evolving sound of hip-hop music.
